この英文を翻訳してもらえないでしょうか？長文ですが翻訳してもらえないでしょうか？"Frisbie"Many years ago ,that was a word shouted often at Connecticut'sYale University Between classes,some students tossed pie tins backand forth.Yelling "Frisbie!" was a warning that a spinning disk was in the air.Why that word? In the late 1890s,a Bridgeport, Connecticut, mannamed William Frisbie started the Frisbie Pie Company. People lovedFrisbie's Pies. And not only did the pies taste great, but the leftovertins made great outdoor toys, as we11! College students weren't alone in sailing Pie tins. A man named Walter Morrison did the same thing as a child. When he grew up，Morrison decided to make his own toy saucers. ln 1948, he beganmaking discs out of plastic in lieu of tin, so people wouldn't cut theirfingers on the sharp edge. Later,Walter sold his “Morrison's Flyin'Saucer" at local fairs and by the sea in Los Angeles, Califomia. In 1955，Morrison met a pair of young entrepreneurs, Rick Knerrand Arthur “Spud" Meline. They owned a small toy company calledWham-O, which they had started in a garage. The two made and soldthe Wham-O slingshot. They had often seen Morrison's discs at a nearby beach. Knerr and Meline felt the toy could be a Wham-O winner.They talked it overwith Morrison, and he agreed to sell his saucer. After Walter signed acontract,his toy belonged to Knerr and Meline. ln 1957，Morrison'sFlyin' Saucer landed on toy shelves under a new name－the Wham-OPluto Platter. Later,Knerr and Meline wanted a new name for their disc， some-thing short and catchy. They liked the name Frisbie. However,toavoid croussing swords with the Frisbie family,the Wham-O menchanged the spelling to Frisbee. ln 1958, the Pluto Platter became theFrisbee. Today more than 300 million plastic platters have been sold world-wide since the late 1950s－and most have been Frisbees. (OnlyWham-O can use that brand name.) ln fact, more Frisbees are soldeach year than all the baseballs, basketballs and footballs combined.
